Even the picture looks like it....."chicken" fried steak. It was SO good. Chicken style seiten topped with a cheeze gravy...mmmmmm! This is my second attempt at seiten--the first try was so spongy that I almost wasn't going to try again. But, wow, this time it was great. I made a bread crumb coating and fried the "steaks" up. I think we made about 10 steaks and they all got eaten AND I got compliments, not just placates..wooohooooo! The seiten recipe is from veganforum.com and the sauce is a general vegan cheeze sauce recipe using rice milk and nutritional yeast.
